Privacy Policy

Scope
solo-adventuring-with-ai is a private application operated by an individual ("the operator") for personal use, shared only with a small number of people the operator has explicitly invited. It is not a public service — no accounts can be created, and only people on the operator's allowlist can sign in.
What Google sign-in is used for
Signing in with Google is used only to verify a signed-in person's identity (their email address) against the operator's allowlist. No other Google data is requested or accessed — no Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, or any other Google service.
What data is stored
Campaign, character, and world data created while playing is stored on the operator's own server, not with any third party. Session/authentication tokens are also kept on that same server. This data is currently shared among everyone on the allowlist rather than kept separate per person.
Data sharing
No data is sold or shared with third parties. The only exceptions are the language model providers this app already uses to run the game itself (turning play actions into narration) — no data is shared beyond what running the game requires.
Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy
This app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated.
